Everyone hates grout. Actually sometimes hate isn't a strong enough word, detest comes to mind. nIm sure if people could rid their home of all the tile and the necessary grout that goes with it, they would.
I'm going to show you how to restore grout, the easy way.m I found a little bottle of tile guard at a local home improvement store. It was under $5.00. If you're like me, you have probably wiped and wiped and wiped but the grout sucks the dirt right in.
After a good clean with Clorox clean-up, start pouring the tile guard on the grout and spread with cotton balls. For best results let it sit over night. This is vital to getting the liquid to setup and dry. When you wipe it down the next morning the tiles come out very shiny and the grout should be much brighter and cleaner.
The process is completely painless and simple. There is also very little mess.
